Surah Al-Baqarah is the Longest Surah of the Quran. It has 286 verses divided into 40 Rukus/Sections. This Surah was mainly revealed in Madinah. It contains the greatest Verse of the Quran, also referred to as Ayat-ul-Kursi which is verse number 255.
